The TC Summer Championships will become an annual event in 2023 for clubs in 12U, 14U and 15U divisions with 32 teams in each division. The start date would be no earlier than the fourth weekend in June and end no later than the Tuesday following the second weekend in July.

For the 12U division, there is a requirement for eight fields minimum overall and one complex with a four-field minimum. All fields must have either turf, grass or dirt infield cut big enough for 70-feet bases and a fence distance minimum of 225 feet (temporary fencing is OK). The permanent or portable mounds need to be a 50-feet distance and the complex must have lights, concessions and restrooms.

For the 14U and 15U divisions, there is a requirement for 10 fields minimum with a preference toward the bid including a college or minor league stadium. All fields must have either turf or grass infield and permanent or portable mounds need to be a 60 foot, 6-inch distance and the complex must have lights, concessions and restrooms.

The event projects a total of 4,200 room nights with an average of 1,200 athletes and 1,800 spectators at the event. There is interest in having a lodging community that is aggressive in their interest to host and develop sports tourism as well as a local work force interested in baseball to assist in the management of the event and activities.
