2021 USA Wrestling World Team Trials Heading to Nebraska
Event will be held in Lincoln in mid-September
Posted On: August 4, 2021 By :USA Wrestling’s 2021 Senior World Team Trials will be held at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, starting September 11.
This event will determine the U.S. team that will compete in October’s Senior World Championships in Oslo, Norway. The meet will feature 10 World Championship weight classes in men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman.
There could be some weight classes which are not contested in Lincoln depending on the results from the Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo and based upon the decision of Olympic medalists whether they will compete at the worlds.
USA Wrestling is partnering with the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau and the MWC Wrestling Academy to host this event.
