The Mexican Futbol Federation and Soccer United Marketing have announced five cities across the United States that will host the 2024 MexTour, highlighted by a game against powerhouse Brazil and a return to the Rose Bowl in September.

Mexico will play Bolivia at Soldier Field in Chicago on May 31, then take on Uruguay at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on June 5. Three days later, Mexico will battle Brazil at 102,000-seat Kyle Field at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, in the final tuneup for the 48th Copa América, which will be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14.

The final two stops include a matchup with New Zealand at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, on September 7, and a clash with Canada on September 10 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The MexTour is hoping to break its attendance record of 90,526, which occurred when Mexico and New Zealand played at the Rose Bowl in 2010.

“We are thrilled to return with the MexTour to Chicago, Denver, Pasadena and Arlington, where fans, year after year, have embraced the Mexican National Team with remarkable passion,” said SUM Executive Vice President Camilo Durana. “This year, in conjunction with Lone Star Sports & Entertainment and the Houston Dynamo FC, we welcome the opportunity to host soccer for the first time at the renewed and historic 102,000-seat Kyle Field at Texas A&M University, in a match against the Brazilian National Team and its roster of global stars. The match will be a celebration of soccer for the entire state.”

The September matches against New Zealand and Canada will serve as preparation for the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup and Concacaf Nations League ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Each tour stop features the AT&T Futbol Fiesta fan fest, as well as fan and media events throughout the markets. Mexico’s supporters have responded with an average attendance of nearly 60,000 per match in the last decade.
