2025 AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships Nears Record Status
Orlando's Orange County Convention Center to host massive volleyball event
Posted On: June 5, 2025 By :The Amateur Athletic Union is poised to break a Guiness Book of World Records mark when it hosts the annual AAU Junior Volleyball National Championships from June 13 to July 7 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The 24-day event is expected to bring in an 325,500 estimated attendees with a total of 6,515 teams (5,063 girls and 1,452 boys), including more than 390 Central Florida teams in Orlando to compete. The 2024 event was the largest sporting event ever held at the OCCC.
“We are so thankful for our community partners when it comes to arranging this event, without Orange County Convention Center, Greater Orlando Sports Commission, and Visit Orlando, we wouldn’t be able to host the premier event for AAU’s largest sport,” said Jo Mirza, AAU president.

The event will showcase athletes and coaches from the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. According to Visit Orlando, the 51st AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships in 2024 brought over $760 million in economic impact to Central Florida.

The girls’ tournament will be held first from June 13–28 with divisions from 10U to 18U. The boys’ tournament runs from June 30 through July 7 with divisions from 12U to 18U.
