The NCAA has selected Anthony Travel to manage its Championship Housing Program.

“This collaboration will provide innovative solutions and savings not only to the NCAA, but also its member institutions and various organizing committees,” said Anthony Travel President and CEO John Anthony.

The NCAA’s revamped championship bid process was presented at the NACDA Convention in Orlando, Florida. The new process includes the awarding of more than 500 sites for 84 NCAA championships by the end of the year. Once hosts are awarded championships, Anthony Travel will manage the lodging proposal, selection and contracting efforts.

“This program will provide more amenities for our student-athletes while allowing institutions to maximize their per diem while participating in NCAA championships,” said Mark Lewis, NCAA executive vice-president of championships and alliances.
