With 14 unique communities and dozens of places to play, the Myrtle Beach area continues to be a leading destination for regional and national sporting events. When you add 60 miles of beautiful beaches, Southern hospitality and a huge array of attractions open all year round, it’s clear why sports planners love The Beach.

The crown jewel of sports venues at The Beach is the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Opened in 2015, this $12.4 million facility has eight basketball courts and 16 volleyball courts, plus dedicated areas with the ability to host gymnastics, pickleball, table tennis and more. With over 10,000 square feet of event space, a massive multiscreen video scoreboard and seats for over 2,000 spectators, there’s no better place for the big game.
