2021 World Games
Posted On: August 8, 2014 By :Birmingham, Alabama; Lima, Peru; and Ufa, Russia, have submitted a bid to host the 2021 World Games. The three cities applied to the International World Games Association before the close of the bidding phase on July 31, 2014. The host city will be announced in 2015.
Approximately 4,500 athletes and officials from about 100 countries participate in the World Games, which showcases more than 30 sports, including squash, tug-of-war, sumo and beach handball. The 2017 World Games will take place in Wroclaw, Poland.
