BPG Sports has signed an agreement with Softball World LLC to manage and operate Sports At The Beach, a facility in Georgetown, Delaware that holds tournaments for youth travel baseball teams, and released the schedule for this season.

Tournaments for all ages will be held on every weekend except Easter starting March 21 and running through late August. SATB features 16 natural grass fields, each of which has live-streaming cameras, and can host up to 100 teams and 10,000 visitors. It also has eight basketball courts, fishing ponds, picnic areas and a pro shop.

“We’re thrilled to bring Sports At The Beach (SATB), a national youth baseball destination, into the BPG Sports family,” said Rob Buccini, founder of Buccini Pollin Group. “SATB brings thousands of players, coaches, families, and visitors to Sussex County, and we look forward to improving the tournament experience with enhanced operational systems, logistics, and guest services.”
BPG plans to make several upgrades over the next few years, including to the facilities and playing surface. This is BPG’s first move into southern Delaware, though it also manages Wilmington’s Chase Fieldhouse, home of the Philadelphia 76ers’ G League team, the Delaware Blue Coats, and Kirkwood Sports Complex, a 65-acre multi-sports facility in New Castle.

BPG Sports hosts more than four million visitors and 10,000 events per year.
