Giants Enterprises has announced the expansion of Pier 48 near San Francisco’s Oracle Park, which will provide the largest contiguous indoor event space in the city after the Moscone Convention Center.

The expansion allows the venue to use 200,000 square feet of event space that can accommodate up to 10,000 people. As part of the development, the area includes 15 Oracle Park venues, two luxury yachts and three transformable spaces that encircle the baseball stadium’s edge for events.

Other features at Pier 48 include four distinct yet connected spaces, each with high ceilings and up-close views of the Bay Bridge, the city skyline and Oracle Park itself through customized window vignettes. The venue is located adjacent to Oracle Park and across McCovey Cove, making it accessible from different directions and available for conferences, receptions, concerts and gala dinners.

The space was recently used to host the opening reception for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders 2020 conference.
