Taking your sport out onto the world stage can be an epic adventure for you and your participants. Fly to some far-flung South Pacific paradise, perhaps, with all the rewards and challenges inherent in such an ambitious trek, or just head over the border to Canada, where the comforts of almost-home meet the subtle differences of cultural exchange. More than ever, the sports world is an international one, with professional leagues scheduling games outside U.S. borders and masses of amateur athletes traveling to foreign soil to compete.
