GWN Events to Launch SuperPower 5K in Toronto

GWN Events has announced the launch of the SuperPower 5K, which will be held August 30 on Toronto Island. The event will kick off Fan Expo Canada, the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming event in Canada. This year, the SuperPower 5K will be in support of SickKids Foundation.
“GWN strives in producing inspiring, engaging events that promote healthy lifestyles and a fun atmosphere,” said Aaron Soroka, chief operating officer at GWN events. “We’ve partnered with Fan Expo Canada to deliver the ultimate experience for all participants.”
Participants will have the opportunity to fundraise in support of SickKids Foundation, which supports the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. Funds raised through the pledge program will go directly to the SickKids VS Limits campaign.
Additionally, participants will receive a limited edition backpack with their registration and a medal upon completion. Interactive entertainment for all ages will be available after the race.
