Honoring WISE Los Angeles’ Women of Inspiration
The SportsTravel team recently attended the annual Women of Inspiration event hosted by the Los Angeles chapter of Women in Sports and Events (WISE). Held at City Club in Los Angeles, the event recognized three women who have made a significant impact on the business of sports. In attendance to accept their awards were Renata Simril, president and CEO of the LA84 Foundation; Shelley Smith, ESPN reporter; and Claudia Teran, executive vice-president and general counsel of Fox Sports and executive vice-president and deputy general counsel of Fox Networks Group.
