Posted On: December 10, 2018 By : Ann Shepphird

The Hyatt Regency Seattle has opened in Seattle, Washington, with 1,260 guest rooms and 103,000 square feet of meeting space—making it the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest. The new hotel has already contracted with a number of sports groups and will serve as the headquarters hotel for the Seattle Baseball Showcase, which will be held March 8–10, 2019, and the second annual Pac-12 Sustainability Conference, to be held June 25–26, 2019.

The Hyatt Regency Seattle is located across the street from the construction site for the Washington State Convention Center’s new Summit building, which began construction in August and is scheduled to open in 2022 with 250,000 square feet of new exhibition space.

The new Hyatt Regency Seattle is now the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest.

The hotel was designed to celebrate the Pacific Northwest, with local art used throughout the hotel.

The new Regency Lounge features an outdoor patio.

Construction is underway on the Washington State Convention Center’s new Summit building.
