IndyCar will compete on four dates in March for the first time. After St. Petersburg and Phoenix, the inaugural IndyCar Grand Prix of Arlington will take place March 15. March finishes on the series’ first natural terrain road course of 2026 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.

Douglas Boles. “Our joint weekend in partnership with NASCAR and Fox at Phoenix Raceway will be a can’t-miss for motorsport fans across the country and a truly special celebration of fast, fearless racing across the motorsport landscape.”
After an April 19 stop in Long Beach, California, IndyCar will head to the Indianapolis 500, with qualifying taking place May 16–17 and the race itself running on May 24.
The summer run is highlighted by races in Nashville on July 19, then the lone international IndyCar event in 2026 will be the Streets of Markham race outside Toronto on August 16. A pair of races at the Milwaukee Mile on August 29–30 leads into the season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, on September 6.
“Our growth is industry-leading and will only accelerate faster as we continue our powerful partnership with Fox Sports and increase investment in our events,” said Mark Miles, Penske Entertainment Corp. president and chief executive officer. “The 2026 NTT IndyCar Series schedule provides a dynamic showcase for our sport and its stars, blending fan-favorite race weekends with incredible showcases at exciting new venues.
