Jason Suitt Joins Tulsa Sports Commission
The move rounds out a new sports tourism team in the city
Posted On: October 22, 2025 By :Tulsa Regional Tourism and the Tulsa Sports Commission have announced that Jason Suitt has been named senior director of sports sales.
Suitt joins the operation with more than 25 years of experience in college athletics and sports tourism. He most recently served as director of sports development at Visit Baton Rouge in Louisiana, where he helped bring major events such as the 2025 USBC Open Championships and Louisiana’s first professional pickleball tournament to the city.
Suitt also spent seven years with Louisiana State University in a variety of roles including assistant athletic director for fan engagement and director of fan experience. He also served as director of marketing and licensing for the University of Arkansas.
Suitt rounds out a new sports tourism team in Tulsa that also includes Faith David, who was recently named as sports development manager at the Tulsa Sports Commission.
