Joshua Paul Takes Over as Director of Sports in Valley Forge

Posted On: October 15, 2026 By :Joshua Paul has been named Director of Sports at the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, where he will lead efforts to attract sporting events and grow sports tourism throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Paul brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across hospitality, sales, marketing, and sports tourism. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions with premier hotel brands across the Greater Philadelphia region, consistently driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.
Most recently, Paul served as Assistant Director of Sales at Loews Philadelphia Hotel, the third-largest hotel in the city, where he oversaw major national accounts, including the group block for the MLB All-Star that took place in Philadelphia in July.
In his new role, Paul will work to strengthen relationships with sports organizations, event rights holders, and hospitality partners while pursuing opportunities to bring new tournaments and sporting events to Montgomery County. Through Valley Forge Sports, VFTCB works to position the county as a competitive destination for sports events, generating overnight stays, visitor spending, and economic impact for the region.
