USA Roller Sports National Championships

Date: July 17–August 7

Venue: Spokane Convention Center, Spokane, Washington

Event description: The USA Roller Sports National Championships crowns champions in several roller sports disciplines, including figure skating, rink hockey, speed skating and roller derby.

Figure National Championships: July 17–28

Rink Hockey National Championships: July 29–August 3

Speed National Championships: July 30–August 6

Roller Derby National Championships: August 5–7

Number of athletes/participants: About 3,000

Pan American Games — Softball

Date: July 25–August 1

Venue: Lima, Peru

Event description: The USA Softball Men’s National Team will compete in the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The men are looking to medal for the first time since 2003.

Number of athletes/participants: Six teams per event

Number of spectators: 1,000

Pacific Nations Cup

Date: July 27

Venue: Infinity Park, Glendale, Colorado (U.S. vs. Canada)

Event description: All six national rugby teams in the Pacific Nations Cup or PNC, are qualified for Rugby World Cup Japan giving fans a much-anticipated preview of what’s to come at the world’s third-largest single-sport event. Similarly, the high quality of competition—with all teams ranked in the world’s Top 20—will bode well as the Team USA Eagles continue to build on their new high ranking of No. 12 in the world. The Eagles are accompanied by Fiji at No. 8, Japan at No. 11, Tonga at No. 14, Samoa at No. 16 and Canada at No. 20. The U.S. will play Canada in Glendale, Colorado.

Number of athletes/participants: Six international men’s 15s teams

Number of spectators: 4,000
