Los Angeles to host Call of Duty World League Championships

August event to be at Pauley Pavilion after two years away

UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion will be the host for the 2019 Call of Duty World League Championships, Aug. 14—18 as the event returns to Los Angeles after two years away from California.   

The CWL Championships have been in Orlando, Florida and Columbus, Ohio the past two years. Los Angeles was the event’s home before the past two years. Los Angeles was announced as the CWL host during a recent event in Anaheim, California.

The first two days of competition will be closed to the public. Thirty-two teams will be competing for the chance to make it to the main stage. All five days of competition will be on the Call of Duty’s Twitch Channel, and tickets for the public days of the event Aug. 16—18 are on sale now.
