Maccabi USA National Team Selection

Maccabi USA will host a National Team Selection in July 2024 with selected team members representing the United States at the 22nd Maccabiah Games in Israel in the summer of 2025. The 2024 event will be the first time that the event holds all nine sports simultaneously instead of having segmented competitions by sport. The nine sport competitions are basketball, baseball, field hockey, futsal, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball.
The tryouts will take place on a weekend in July. The event will bring in approximately 800-1,200 athletes along with up to 160 coaches and volunteers. Host hotels must be within 45 minutes of a major airport, within 15 minutes of the proposed venues and be serviced by at least one local kosher caterer providing fresh food.
Maccabi USA is a non-profit organization that has a history of enriching Jewish lives through athletic, cultural and educational programs. It develops, supports and promotes international, national and regional athletic activities and is an affiliate organization with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
