Posted On: August 26, 2012 By :Major League Baseball has appointed Frank Robinson as vice-president of baseball development. Robinson, a Hall of Fame outfielder, most recently served as a special assistant to Commissioner Bud Selig. Robinson succeeds Jimmie Lee Solomon, who had been with MLB since 1991.
