Major League Cricket Reveals Dates for 2026 Season
Fourth year of league will begin in mid-June
Posted On: September 10, 2025 By :The Major League Cricket 2026 season will start June 18 and last through July 18 with six teams and 34 matches around the country.
Details on venue for the 2026 season will be announced at a later date. Its third season of operation included matches in Oakland, Fort Lauderdale and Texas with a sold-out championship event in Grand Prairie, Texas.
“Season 3 showed that demand for top-tier cricket in the U.S. is real and accelerating,” said Johnny Grave, chief executie officer of Major League Cricket. “MLC is winning new fans, followers and viewers throughout the USA and around the world. We’re delivering on our promise to grow the game across the USA and build relations with new and existing commercial partners.”
Launched in 2023, MLC is cricket’s only ICC sanctioned domestic T20 franchise league in the United States.The events in Oakland and Broward County Stadium were the first time MLC has played at those venues.
“The next phase is further infrastructure investment,” Grave said. “Our goal is to have 10 international standard venues by 2030, giving more fans access to world-class cricket and creating better environments for American players to develop.”
