Calendar will run from January through August in seven different states
Posted On: July 15, 2025 By :Major League Fishing has announced the 2026 Bass Pro Tour schedule, with seven states hosting events throughout the year and a roster of 51 pros battling for Fishing Clash Angler of the Year honors and qualification into Redcrest 2027 and the MLF Heavy Hitters all-star event.
The season kicks off January 15–18 at Lake Guntersville in Alabama before moving to Lake Hartwell in Oconee County, South Carolina, from February 19–22. March will feature two events in the Lonestar State — March 5–8 at Lake Whitney and Lake Waco in Waco, Texas, and March 26–29 at O.H. Ivie Lake and Lake Brownwood in Early, Texas.
“Waco is thrilled to welcome Major League Fishing and showcase our incredible outdoor resources,” said Mike Vogelaar, executive director and president of the Greater Waco Sports Commission. “With support from the City of Waco and the Waco TPID, hosting an event of this caliber highlights our growing reputation as a premier destination for both competitive and recreational fishing.”
The 2026 Redcrest event will be April 16–19 at a location yet to be determined. Beaver Lake in Northwest Arkansas will host an event April 30 through May 3, and then two weeks later Ocala, Florida, will be the site for the Heavy Hitters May 16–21. The final two events will be at Grand Lake in Grove, Oklahoma, from June 18–21 and Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio, from August 6–9.
“Our 2026 schedule showcases everything we love about the Bass Pro Tour — challenging new waters, high-stakes competition and a roster of the most accomplished anglers in the sport,” said Kathy Fennel, Major League Fishing executive vice president and general manager. “We’re especially excited about several new stops on the Tour next season, and working on some exciting developments for Redcrest 2026, which we’ll be announcing soon. There’s never been a better time to be a fan of the sport of professional bass fishing.”
The 2026 season will see Bass Pro Tour’s transition to a 51-angler field, designed to create a more streamlined, sustainable model. As in 2025, each Bass Pro Tour event will feature the full field of anglers competing in the Qualifying Round on Days 1 and 2, followed by the Knockout Round on Day 3 and then the Championship Round on Day 4.
