PA Sports Names New Executive Committee
Mark Jeanneret of Erie Sports Commission to Lead Sports Tourism Agency
Posted On: July 1, 2021 By :Pennsylvania Sports, the lead agency for sports tourism in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, has named a new Executive Committee, which will be led by Chair Mark Jeanneret, who currently serves as the executive director of the Erie Sports Commission.
Also elected to the PA Sports Executive Committee were Vice Chair Amy Capcara, sales and marketing manager for VM Sports and Visit Monroeville; Treasurer Travis Geiser, sports & events sales manager at the Chester County Conference & Visitors Bureau; Secretary Danielle Vincenti, regional sales manager for sports at The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau; and Past Chair Gregg Cook, executive director of Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority.
PA Sports’ mission is to attract and host international, national, regional, and local sporting events to showcase Pennsylvania as a sports event destination. The organization consists of 11 of Pennsylvania’s largest destination marketing organizations and sports commissions, offering sports event planners one-stop shopping from a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities in Pennsylvania that offer easy accessibility, affordability, and leisure time attractions.
