Perfect Game, Sports Facilities Companies to Host Youth Baseball Clinic in Alabama
The event at Hoover Met Complex takes place before the SEC Baseball Tournament
Posted On: May 15, 2025 By :Perfect Game, in partnership with The Sports Facilities Companies, has announced a youth baseball clinic on May 19 at the Hoover Met Complex in Alabama before the start of the SEC Baseball Tournament.
The clinic will welcome nearly 500 students from Birmingham City Schools and Hoover City Schools for a morning of instruction and games led by five former Major League Baseball players: World Series champion Brett Myers, three-time All-Star reliever Tom “Flash” Gordon, All-Star slugger Ryan Klesko, 13-year veteran Wes Helms and seven-year veteran Jason Phillips.
The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature on-field stations with games, skills training and competitive challenges.

Each participant will receive a baseball glove, baseball, T-shirt and one ticket valid for any session of the SEC tournament. The Hoover Met Complex has hosted the SEC tournament annually since 1998. Attendance records were broken in each of the past two years, with more than 180,000 fans attending in 2024.
