Perfect Game WWBA National Invitational Heads to Mesa
Spring training homes for Cubs and A's to host eight-team event
Posted On: September 22, 2025 By :Perfect Game’s World Wood Bat Association National Baseball Invitational will take place in Mesa, Arizona, from September 19—21 in partnership with Visit Mesa.
Eight programs will square off at two Cactus League venues: Riverview Park, spring training home of the Chicago Cubs, and Hohokam Stadium, spring training home of the A’s. The Invitational serves as a precursor to Perfect Game’s WWBA National Championship, held each October in Jupiter, Florida.
“Mesa is honored to partner with Perfect Game to host the WWBA National Invitational and looks forward to welcoming so many athletes, coaches, families, fans and scouts to experience our MLB Spring Training facilities,” said Lance Fite, vice president of sports for Visit Mesa. “World class organizations like Perfect Game, representing the nation’s top talent in youth baseball, deserve world class facilities to truly set a memorable stage”
The WWBA National Baseball Invitational will feature three days of top-tier competition, providing athletes with valuable exposure to college coaches and professional scouts while giving fans a preview of the talent that will be on display in Jupiter.
