Registration for LA28 Ticket Draw Opens
Spectators can begin the process to obtain tickets for the Olympic Summer Games
Posted On: January 14, 2026 By :Sports fans worldwide are being invited to register for the LA28 Ticket Draw, which opens on January 14 at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT.
On the eve of the milestone moment, LA28 hosted more than 300 Olympians and Paralympians — representing 28 different Games dating back to 1960 — at the LA Memorial Coliseum. The gathering included a ceremonial lighting of the L.A. Memorial Coliseum cauldron, a symbol that was designed to ignite the athlete and fan journey to the LA28 Games.
“LA28 is ready to welcome the world and the most spectacular athletes from every corner of it for what will be the greatest Games in history,” said LA28 CEO Reynold Hoover. “A ticket to the Games is more than just a seat in the stands. It’s an opportunity to witness history and be part of the awe-inspiring moments where we celebrate the best of humanity and experience unity through the power of sport.”
Registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw is the first step for a chance to secure a time slot to purchase tickets beginning in April. Once registered, participants will be entered into a ticket draw, which will randomly assign time slots to purchase tickets throughout future ticket drops.
The LA28 ticket process is being run by LA28’s Official Ticketing Service Providers AXS and EVENTIM. In addition to individual tickets, curated ticket-inclusive hospitality experiences and packages from On Location will also go on sale this year.
Event organizers have also confirmed that tickets for the 2028 Paralympic Games will go on sale in 2027.
Olympic and Paralympic Milestones
Uniting more than 15,000 athletes in 2028, Los Angeles will become the third city to host three Olympic Games, following 1932 and 1984, and it will also host its first Paralympic Games. The LA28 Games are also set to become the first Olympic Games in history with more women athletes than men, feature the debut of new Olympic and Paralympic sports (debuts for flag football, squash and para climbing), and be the first Games since 1948 to not build any new permanent infrastructure.
Games Schedules
With 353 events across 36 sports, the LA28 Olympic Summer Games will be held from July 14 to July 30, 2028. The Paralympic Games will take place shortly afterwards, August 15–27, 2028.
LA28 released the provisional competition schedules for both the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games in November.
