Rockstar Energy Open Debuts at Breckenridge Resort
The snowboard competition is an offshoot of a successful skateboard event in Oregon
Posted On: December 19, 2025 By :The Rockstar Energy Open will present its first winter snowboard event at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado, December 19–21, building on two successful summer skateboard competitions in Portland, Oregon. In launching the event, the oraganizers have announced 28 partners that will help deliver an immersive event of snowboard culture, competition, music and community.
National partners include title sponsor Rockstar Energy, Albertsons / Safeway, Maverik, Toyota, Cordaroys’ Bean Bags, Outer Range Brewing Co, The North Face, event host Breckenridge Ski Resort, and content partner/event organizer Platfrm. Supporting brands include Oakley, Nixon, 1910, SPY+, Thirty-Two, Purl Wax, Turtlebox Audio, Underground Snowboards, Sun Bum, and non-profit partners Boarding for Breast Cancer, Save a Brain, and SOS Outreach.

Their support is a testament to the growing need for new, innovative and outside-the-box competitions that truly elevate the next generation of riders.”

Among the activations will be a custom snowboard shop experience, offering onsite board waxing and tune-ups, limited edition RSEO merchandise and Rockstar Energy Drink product sampling. On mountain, fans will be able to relax in the Rockstar Energy Lounge, complete with premium seating, a livestream feed, and a full bar featuring Rockstar Specialty Cocktails and local brews.
Among the athletes expected to compete on a blend of rail jams and new park-style competitions are Red Gerard, Mark McMorris, Jamie Anderson, Jill Perkins, Nik Baden, Mons Roisland, Zeb Powell, Brandon Davis, Ylfa Runarsdottir, Raibu Katayama, Egan Wint, and brothers Joey and Pat Fava.
