The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center in Orlando, Florida, will host the 2023 U.S. Paralympic Swimming National Championships starting December 15 and running through December 17.

It marks the first time the event will be held in Orlando, providing Para and veteran athletes from around the country with an opportunity to compete for national titles. The center recently hosted the 2023 USA Down Syndrome Swimming National Training Camp and was the site for the 2022 Special Olympics USA water events.

“As we eagerly anticipate hosting the 2023 U.S. Paralympic Swimming National Championships, our hearts are filled with honor and exhilaration,” said Michael Miller, executive director at RAFC. “This remarkable event is a prime example of our commitment to our community, where inclusivity and the pursuit of excellence shine brightly.”

Equipped with two Olympic-size pools, the complex is one of seven dryland diving performance centers in the nation. In 1992, the center was in danger of closing for good before Harris Rosen helped save the venue. He donated millions to the aquatic center over most of its history, much of which funded renovations.
