Those four countries will face off on three consecutive weekends across the country. The series begins Saturday, April 11 with a doubleheader at Heart Health Park in Sacramento, California: the U.S. vs. New Zealand at 4 pm local time followed by Australia against Canada at 7 pm. Six days later, the series will move to CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, with Canada facing New Zealand at 5:15 Central time and then the U.S. taking on Australia at 8 pm.

The series concludes April 24 at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago with the U.S. facing Canada at 7:30 pm CT. Australia and New Zealand will play in Australia.

The United States will host the men’s Rugby World Cup in 2031 and the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2033. The sport has been growing in popularity thanks in large measure to the bronze medal won by the women’s Rugby 7 team at the 2024 Olympic Summer Games, the first medal in the sport for a U.S. women’s team and the first by any U.S. team in 100 years. Last year the U..S took on Canada at CPKC Stadium and set an attendance record for a women’s rugby match of 10,518. Ilona Maher, one of the breakout stars of those Summer Olympics for the U.S., is part of the player pool for the Eagles.

“Welcoming all participating unions for the Pacific Four Series this year is an exciting benchmark for USA Rugby, bringing the world class tournament and teams to our US fanbase,” said USA Rugby CEO Bill Goren. “With the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2033 now one year closer, these multi-match events act as building blocks towards our goal of record success in 2033. Last year was a historic year for women’s rugby, we’re ready to continue that momentum this spring with a strong collective of host cities, partners and players.”

In last year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup semifinals in Great Britain, Canada beat Australia and New Zealand before falling in the final to England. The United States did not reach the knockout stage. The men’s World Cup will take place next year in Australia.
