Sport Oregon Announces 24-Member Board of Directors
Board will be led by president Chris Oxley and vice president Charles Leverton

The 24-person executive board is led by four elected officers, including president Chris Oxley (Adaptive Strategies), vice president Charles Leverton (Multnomah Athletic Club), treasurer Dave Evans (Moda Health) and secretary China Kirk (USTA Pacific Northwest).
A long-serving member of the Sport Oregon board and now its president, Oxley is owner and principal of Adaptive Strategies, a consultant services company providing advisory in sports, live events and venue development. Oxley’s career in sports and entertainment has spanned nearly three decades.
“We are proud to welcome such accomplished and visionary leaders to our outstanding board of directors,” said Oxley. “Their diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to sport will strengthen our organization and help drive our mission forward.”
Over the past five years, Sport Oregon’s combined board has tripled in size. In total, Sport Oregon has more than 140 members between its executive board and investor board. The Sport Oregon Young Professionals board now includes more than 70 leaders in the area.
