The Ocala, Florida, campus of Sports at World Equestrian Center will undergo a phased development to add 11 outdoor fields as well as other amenities, it announced last week.

Four of those fields will be artificial turf, while the other seven will be natural grass. All will have flexible configurations to accommodate multiple sports. The new complex will also include a restaurant and covered seating for more than 3,000 spectators. The fields and the first phase of the expansion is expected to be completed by year’s end.
