Welcome to the SportsTravel Bid Bowl. Here you will find a list of events that are actively seeking hosts, with RFPs from regional, national and international sports-event organizers who are looking to partner with destinations in the future. To find out about each item below, click on “More Information” to get details about what the event organizer is looking for, as well as a complete RFP with even more specifications about the event including venue requirements, hotel needs and fees associated with bidding.

Elite Tournament Events

Bid Deadline: May 31, 2024

About the Organization: Elite Tournaments is an event management firm that specializes in youth sports with the ability to excel in a variety of platforms. Elite Tournaments currently runs over 50 events nationwide and is looking for partners on the following events: IWLCA West Coast Cup, IWLCA Midwest Cup, GA East Regional Showcase, GA West Regional Showcase, GA Winter Showcase and Champions Cup, EA West Regional Showcase, EA Spring Showcase, DPL Summit, DPL West Regional Event, DPL West Showcase and DPL Finals. AJGA Events

Bid Deadline: June 7, 2024

About the Organization: The American Junior Golf Association is dedicated to the overall growth of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships. With over 10,000 members ages 12-19 from 50 states and 60 foreign countries, the AJGA will conduct over 250 championships this year from January to December. The organization is looking for hosts for the AJGA Junior Championship and the AJGA/LPGA Tour Legends Championship. MORE INFORMATION

2027 IWWF World Water Ski Show Championships

Bid Deadline: June 30, 2024

About the Organization: The IWWF and its Show Ski Council are accepting bids to host the 2027 IWWF World Water Ski Show Championships which includes both Team and Individual competitions. The time frame for the 2027 IWWF World Water Ski Show Championships is February to March 2027 if in the Southern Hemisphere and late August to early September 2027 if in the Northern Hemisphere. U.S. Australian Football League Events

Bid Deadline: July 31, 2024

About the Organization: Since 1997, the US Australian Football League has been dedicated to growing the sport of Australian Football in the United States with games played on ovals that measure 525′ x 360′. The organizer holds regional tournaments throughout the country during the summer and National Championships in October. Regional tournaments require grass field space for 2-3 ovals. Nationals require field space for 5 ovals. There are a limited number of venues across the country that can host the events so once an event is successfully completed it is likely the event would return in future years. MORE INFORMATION

USA Fencing Events

Bid Deadline: July 31, 2024

About the Organization: USA Fencing is the recognized national governing body for the sport of fencing in the United States. USA Fencing was founded in 1891 as the Amateur Fencers League of America (AFLA) by a group of New York fencers seeking independence from the Amateur Athletic Union. The organization is looking for hosts for the 2025 North American Cup in October, 2026 North American Cup in March and 2026 Junior Olympic Championship. MORE INFORMATION

USA Ultimate Events

Bid Deadline: August 2, 2024

About the Organization: USA Ultimate has openings for 2025, 2026 and 2027 Division I and Division III national championships. USA Ultimate is a member of the World Flying Disc Federation which serves as the international governing body for the sport of Ultimate. USAU was founded over 30 years ago and has over 50,000 members and there are over 700 college and university teams that compete in the College Championships every year. MORE INFORMATION

PPA Tour

Bid Deadline: August 31, 2024

About the Organization: PPA Tour events take place over a seven-day period, typically from Monday to Sunday. Events are typically held at tennis centers and pickleball centers, country clubs and sports clubs with at least 25 pickleball courts and 1 “center court” with seating ideal for around 2,000 fans for the duration of the event. Major League Quadball Events

Bid Deadline: September 15, 2024

About the Organization: Major League Quadball is a national league that runs from June 1 to August 30. The majority of seasonal activity takes place between June 1 and July 31. The league is home to 16 teams from the United States and Canada. The league is looking for partners for the 2025 Quadball Series and 2025 Quadball Championship. MORE INFORMATION
