Here you will find a list of events that are actively seeking hosts, with RFPs from regional, national and international sports-event organizers who are looking to partner with destinations in the future. To find out about each item below, click on “More Information” to get details about what the event organizer is looking for, as well as a complete RFP with even more specifications about the event including venue requirements, hotel needs and fees associated with bidding.


Elite 7evens Football

Bid Deadline: September 15, 2026

H3 Athletix events are designed to create high-energy, professionally organized athletic experiences for youth and amateur athletes, families, coaches, sponsors, and community partners. Its programming includes tournaments, showcases, camps, clinics, combine-style evaluations, training events and community sports experiences that give athletes an opportunity to compete, develop, gain exposure, and be part of a positive event environment. Elite 7evens Football is a two-day, youth and high school non-contact football tournament from January 23, 2027, that would feature 1,500 participants with around 1,200 spectators. MORE INFORMATION


US Senior Pickleball Nationals 2027

Bid Deadline: October 8, 2026

US Senior Pickleball is the nation’s senior-focused, amateur-driven pickleball organization, delivering a proven, high-quality tournament experience exclusively for players 50 and up. It is seeking a new destination partner for its 2027 National Championship. The venue must be within one hour of a major airport, and the competition is due to take place for six days, from November 30 through December 5, 2027. MORE INFORMATION


Football Tech Championship series Flag Mania

Bid Deadline: October 17, 2026

The Legend2Legacy Championship Series is a premier three-day youth flag football experience designed to create an exceptional experience for student-athletes, families, coaches, officials, vendors, and host communities. The series begins in January 2027 and continues through the end of July 2027. Each tournament is expected to attract between 60 and 100 teams, averaging approximately 80 teams per event. 2028 USA Curling Men’s and Women’s National Championships

Bid Deadline: October 31, 2026

The USA Curling National Championships host the best men’s and women’s teams from across the country to compete for the Men’s and Women’s National Championship titles and advance to represent the United States at the Men’s and Women’s World Curling Championship. The event includes a five-day ice install, followed by competition on Monday, January 31 – Sunday, February 6. MORE INFORMATION


JACKALOPE Festival 2027—2029

Bid Deadline: November 30, 2026

TRIBU USA Inc is seeking host cities and skatepark venues for its CONCEPT JACKALOPE in 2027 and 2029, a three-day-long festival on the beach that features skateboarding competitions, base jumping demos, a highline speed race, Moto X Freestyle demos, live music, DJs, food trucks, after parties and more.

The ideal venue would have basic elements such as rails, stairs, half-pipes, boxes and obstacles, as well as park grounds for pop-up tents, food trucks and beer gardens. MORE INFORMATION


Major League Quadball’s Championship Event

Bid Deadline: November 30, 2026

During this event, teams from across the United States will travel to compete in a two-day tournament for the Benepe Cup, from 28 August, 2027. Quadball is a mixed-gender, full-contact sport. Organizers are looking for 100 hotel rooms per night that can cater to 350 participants and 200 spectators, as well as two turf fields with lights and bleachers setting, a press box, electrical and internet access and on-site storage for the event itself. 2028 USA Powerlifting Raw And Collegiate Nationals

Bid Deadline: November 30, 2026

The USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals attracts hundreds of competitors who participate in various weight classes and divisions, including youth, junior, and masters categories. The USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals is a premier event that showcases the strength and competitive spirit of college powerlifting athletes across the nation. MORE INFORMATION


2028 USA BMX National Event

Bid Deadline: December 1, 2026

Each year USA BMX hosts National Series Events at roughly 30 of its more than 290 local clubs and venue partners. Between 600 and 1,500 athletes per weekend ar expected, as well as a total attendance of 2,500 to 6,500 per day, which will generae between 1,000 and 3,000 hotel room nights. MORE INFORMATION


UpDog International Finals 2028

Bid Deadline: December 31, 2026

The UpDog International Finals is a disc dog competition with competitors from all over the United States, Canada, and more. The whole event will be seven days long, with two days of setup followed by five days of competition, and is due to take place between March 27 and May 7, 2028. The ideal site for the event would have RV parking on site or nearby, pet-friendly lodging and convenient parking options for competitors and guests. There will also be two to three award banquets, which would need to seat between 425 and 500 guests. MORE INFORMATION


2030 USA Gymnastics Championships

Bid Deadline: May 31, 2027

USA Gymnastics is seeking a host city for the 2030 USA Gymnastics Championships, a premier five-day national competition combining three Junior Olympic Championships across Rhythmic, Acrobatic, and Trampoline & Tumbling gymnastics, along with an exciting senior elite combined competition in a single arena. The event will crown national champions and name national teams for World Championship and World Cup assignments. Approximately 1,700 athletes and 600 coaches, judges, and staff from across the country will participate. MORE INFORMATION


2030 U.S. Olympic Team Trials — Curling

Bid Deadline: May 31, 2027

This event determines the Men’s and Women’s teams that will represent the United States at the 2030 French Alps Winter Olympics. Eight teams (four men and four women) will compete in double round-robin format with the top two teams from each gender advancing to a best-of-3 final. MORE INFORMATION
