USA Baseball 15U National Team Trials and Training
Date: July 29–31 (Trials Phase 1), August 1–3 (Trials Phase 2), August 5–7 (Training)
Venue: USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina
Event description: 15U National Team Trials is split into two phases for the second year in a row, with Phase 1 featuring 72 players and 34 moving on to Phase 2. From that pool of talent, the final 20‐man roster will be selected and participate in 15U National Team Training.
Number of athletes/participants: Trials will start with 72 players and Training will feature 20 athletes.

18th Division 2 Show Ski National Championships
Date: August 3–5
Venue: Shorewood Park/Rock River in Loves Park, Illinois
Event description: The Division 2 Show Ski National Championships comprises teams and/or individuals not qualified for the Division 1 Show Ski National Championships by their respective regions. In competitive show skiing, each club has one hour to present a theatrical performance on water skis. Judges score the acts by awarding points based on originality, presentation and execution. Elaborate costumes and staging intermix with music and fast action on the water as an announcer leads the audience through the show. In addition to the overall team competition, athletes compete individually in swivel, adagio doubles, freestyle jumping and team jumping.
Number of athletes/participants: Six to 10 teams consisting of more than 1,000 participants

When is the event up for bid again? Currently seeking bids for the 2020 and beyond Division 2 Show Ski National Championships. The 2019 Division 2 Show Ski National Championships will be held in Tomahawk, Wisconsin.

USA Baseball 16U National Team Development Program (NTDP)
Date: August 4–7
Venue: USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina
Event description: The National Team Development Program offers identified athletes an opportunity to connect with USA Baseball staff to better prepare for a future national team experience. The program includes skill development sessions, off‐field education seminars and intrasquad Stars vs. Stripes games to assist in the development of the athletes as people and players.
Number of athletes/participants: A minimum of 32 athletes will be invited
