USA Weightlifting American Open Series 3/World Team Trials
Date: September 13–16
Venue: Las Vegas, Nevada
Event description: The 2018 USA Weightlifting Nike American Open Series 3 will be held at the Westgate Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 13–16. The event is part of the American Open Series with competition opportunities for youth-, senior- and master-aged athletes. The series allows both medals to be won at the single event and to compete for a series championship to be awarded at the finals in December. The competition provides the final opportunity to qualify for the 2018 IWF World Championships & Olympic Qualification Event in Lima, Peru, in November.
