First established in 2004–2005, the Sled Series between the United States and Canada this year will have games April 3 at 3 p.m. ET, April 5 at 8 p.m., and April 6 at 12:30 p.m. The U.S. is 13-1-0-3-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) in its past 18 series-specific games and trails Canada 19-5-5-26-1 all-time.

“We had a really great series in Minot last month where a lot of younger players were able to get some opportunities to play in situations they don’t normally play,” said David Hoff, coach of the U.S. National Sled Team. “We have the opportunity to build on that and help our players grow and continue to develop in this upcoming series in Calgary.”

The U.S. enters the series with a 13-0 record on the season after going 3-0 at the 2024 March Sled Series in Minot, North Dakota, last month. The team also won the IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czech Republic, in October and the Para Hockey Cup in Quispamsis, Canada, in December.

The event marks the final competition of the season for the U.S. before the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championship, which is also being held at WinSport Arena, May 4–12.
