USA Wheelchair Football League To Host Tournament in Arizona
The event features six teams and is free to attend
Posted On: September 2, 2026 By :The USA Wheelchair Football League will host six teams in Arizona later this month for the second national tournament in the 2026 wheelchair football season.
The games will be held September 11—13 at the Westworld of Scottsdale in conjunction with the Abilities Expo, an event aimed at sharing resources for participants with disabilities. The championship game will be held at 12 p.m. local time on Sunday, September 13.
Competing teams include the Arizona Cardinals wheelchair football team as well as the Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, and Carolina Wheelchair Football Team.
The tournament is open to the public and free to attend. There will be a Learn to Play Clinic on Friday, September 11 from 11:00-12:30 pm for anyone who wants to try the sport.

The energy, skill, and intensity these players bring to the field is incredible, and we can’t wait to see them showcase their talents once again.”
Attendees for the tournament will gain access to the Abilities Expo, an event aimed at people with disabilities, allowing access to game-changing products, services and resources, free workshops and fun, adaptive events and activities. Support for the tournament is provided by Ability 360, a member organization of Move United that offers and promotes programs designed to empower people with disabilities to take personal responsibility so that they may achieve or continue independent lifestyles within the community.

This is the sixth competitive season of the USA Wheelchair Football League. The USA Wheelchair Football League, a program of Move United, is made possible in part by an NFL Bob Woodruff Foundation Salute to Service partnership grant.
Move United is the national leader in community adaptive sports. It has 257 member organizations in 45 states with the goal of ensuring all people, regardless of ability, experiences the power of sport. The organization is bringing its education conference to Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2027.
