Wrangler National Finals Rodeo

For 10 days each December, Las Vegas becomes a cowboy town when the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo comes calling. This year those cowboys had a little more money in their pockets, as the tournament paid out a record $10 million to the best and brightest stars in professional rodeo.
More than 170,000 people filed into the Thomas & Mack Center for the world’s richest rodeo. Trevor Brazile again earned his nickname as “King of the Cowboys” by winning the all-around buckle, the 13th of his career. The triumph extended the Decatur, Texas, cowboy’s record of 23 world championships and helped him set money records in the process.
