Boston University’s Agganis Arena will serve as host for the esports event
Posted On: November 26, 2025 By :Blast has announced that the first major of the 2026 Rocket League Championship Series season will be staged in Boston. The esports event will be held February 19–22 at Agganis Arena on the campus of Boston University. The final two days of competition will be hosted live, where thousands of Rocket League fans will see the world’s best teams battle for a share of a $354,000 prize pool and the first title of the season.
The announcement follows the reveal of the RLCS 2026 roadmap at the World Championship in Lyon in September, which features a Kickoff LAN in Copenhagen in December.
Teams from around the world will battle through online qualifiers and regional events to secure their spot at the Boston Major. Results from Major 1 will also contribute to qualification points toward Major 2 and ultimately the 2026 Rocket League World Championship. The championship location has not yet been announced.
RLCS previously visited Agganis Arena for the Spring Major in 2023, which saw Team Vitality take home the victory.
