Broward County Stadium in South Florida will welcome Major League Cricket action during the July 4 weekend, as the first professional Twenty20 cricket league in the United States plays at the renovated venue from July 1–6.
There will be nine matches over six days including a Fourth of July doubleheader, as well as entertainment, food vendors, giveaways, youth zones and local business activations.
“This elite level of cricket play and competition highlights our stadium’s importance in the experience and expansion of professional cricket in the United States and throughout the world,” said Broward County Commissioner Hazelle Rogers. “We are excited to welcome fans and teams to Broward County and look forward to seeing everyone there.”
