EventConnect Launches Advisory Board
Group of industry professionals will offer advice for the Sportology Conference

The London, Ontario-based company partnered with Huddle Up Group to assemble the board’s members.
EventConnect launched in 2013 and has developed digital tools to streamline the coordination, management, tracking and performance of amateur sports events. Through its partnerships and proprietary technology, the company’s platform delivers efficiencies for rights holders, hotels, sports teams and cities by connecting them on a single platform. The company also organizes the Sportology Conference, which focuses on issues related to sports technology and will be held next in March 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas.
“I feel as though we are just scratching the surface on how technology can help support the amateur sports industry, so the Sportology Conference was created to drive that discussion,” said EventConnect CEO Jason Parker. “The best and most effective way to build software is to hear from the professionals themselves. So we are thrilled, and very thankful, to have such an amazing list of industry experts lending their valuable time and knowledge.”
Huddle Up Group, headed by CEO Jon Schmieder, took a lead role in assembling the advisory board. Schmieder, along with Huddle Up Group Director Caroline Allman, will also serve as a support group for the ongoing work of the advisory board.

The initial EventConnect advisory board is comprised of eight industry professionals:
