The FIBA 3×3 World Tour has revealed its 2024 schedule with 15 events around the globe including Edmonton, its lone North American stop, as the final pre-Olympic event.

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour will visit four continents starting with the opener from April 27-28 in Utsunomiya, Japan, the third consecutive year the destination has hosted the opening weekend. Edmonton would host an event from July 6-7, the last tournament for the tour before the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris, where 3×3 basketball will be part of the Olympic program for the second consecutive Games.

“3×3 fans can witness world-class action and entertainment in fifteen stunning locations around the world,” said Alex Sanchez, FIBA 3×3 managing director. “Thanks to our strong partnerships with these incredible cities, we’re confident this year’s World Tour will break new records. Each location brings its unique flavor to the tour, promising an incredible experience for both players and fans alike.’’

The World Tour is separate from the FIBA 3×3 World Championships, which last year was held in Austria.
