The Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina has been selected to host the 2026 Big 12 Conference Swimming and Diving Championship.
The event will span five days from February 24–28 and will mark the first time the venue will host the Big 12’s swimming and diving championship and only the second time the Big 12’s Swimming and Diving Championship is being held at a neutral site. Last year’s event was in Federal Way, Washington, outside of Seattle.
The Big 12 will have seven men’s programs and 10 women’s programs compete in Greensboro.

“The Greensboro Aquatic Center is proud to host the 2026 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships for the first time in our history,” said GAC Manager David Hoover. “We look forward to working closely with the Conference and providing an exceptional experience for the student-athletes, coaches, officials and all of Big 12 fans who will be coming to Greensboro and our state-of-the-art facility for the first time.”
The Greensboro Aquatic Center has plenty of experience hosting collegiate championship events, having previously been the site for numerous Atlantic Coast Conference, American Athletic Conference, Old Dominion Athletic Conference and South Atlantic Conference championships, as well as multiple NCAA men’s and women’s championships.
The venue also hosted the 2021 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championship.
