Kelly Reisdorf Named Interim CEO of USA Shooting

Interim leader takes over for Craig Kozeniesky

The USA Shooting Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Kelly Reisdorf as the new interim chief executive officer of USA Shooting following the resignation of Craig Kozeniesky ahead of the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris.

“Kelly Reisdorf’s appointment comes at a crucial time for USA Shooting as we navigate through a period of transformation and growth,” said Jim Mitchell, chairman of the USA Shooting Board of Directors.. “We are confident that Kelly’s leadership will guide our organization with a steady hand and an innovative spirit, ensuring our athletes continue to excel on the world stage.”

Reisdorf will be charged with leading as USA Shooting aims to refine its direction. A USA Shooting release praised her experience in multiple P&L turnarounds and expertise in technology.

“I am deeply honored to join the USA Shooting family and to contribute to the rich tradition of excellence that defines this organization,” said Reisdorf. “I am eager to collaborate with our talented athletes, dedicated staff and passionate supporters as we work together to elevate our performance and achieve new milestones.”

Kozeniesky took over as chief executive officer in January 2023, having served in the Marine Corps for 27 years. His son, Lucas, is a Tokyo 2020 silver medalist in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team.

“On behalf of the board, we extend our deepest gratitude to Craig for his dedicated service and commitment to the organization and athlete community,” said Mitchell. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
