Manchester United to Face Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas
The July 30 match is the second on Man U's summer tour of the U.S.
Posted On: April 4, 2023 By :Manchester United has announced it will play Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas in July as part of its summer tour of the United States.
The match will be at Allegiant Stadium on July 30, the second fixture of the club’s tour to be announced. Manchester United last week announced a game against Wrexham at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on July 25. Tickets for that match have sold out as the Premier League giants face a Wrexham side featured on the hit TV show Welcome to Wrexham.
Manchester United said more fixtures and locations will be revealed in the coming weeks. It has not met Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund since a 2016 tour game in China and the pair have played six competitive matches in their histories.
“We have worked with the manager and his staff to provide a mix of competitive opponents to play during our tour of the U.S. and we look forward to the match against Borussia Dortmund,” said John Murtough, Manchester United Football Director. “The response we have received from fans since announcing we will be returning to the U.S. has been incredible. We already have a full house for the match in San Diego and I am sure it will be the same for this fixture in Vegas.”
Tickets for the match go on sale to the general public on April 6.
