The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, will host the Senior PGA Championship for three consecutive years, beginning with the 2026 edition, returning the event to its Florida roots having been held there from 1940 through 2000.
The Concession was named Golf Digest’s “Best New Private Course in America” after it opened in 2006. It hosted the 2015 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Championships and the 2021 World Golf Championship. It is named after a moment at the 1969 Ryder Cup where Jack Nicklaus conceded a 2-foot putt to Tony Jacklin to halve their match, which resulted in the first-ever tie in the history of the Ryder Cup.
“The PGA of America is proud to take the next three editions of the Senior PGA Championship to one of Florida’s finest venues in The Concession Golf Club,” said PGA of America President Don Rea Jr., PGA Master Professional and Owner/Operator of Augusta Ranch Golf Club in Arizona. “The Concession will provide a fantastic test for the world’s best senior players. We cannot wait for the first Senior PGA Championship in Bradenton next April.”

The Senior PGA Championship, the longest-running major in senior golf, began in 1937 at Augusta National Golf Club. The Championship annually features a 156-player field. Previous winners include Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Colin Montgomerie and Bernhard Langer.
“I am happy and excited that the Senior PGA Championship is coming to The Concession Golf Club,” said Nicklaus, the 1991 Senior PGA Champion. “It’s quite a compliment to The Concession and Bruce Cassidy, who, along with a passionate membership, has worked very hard to create a world-class club anchored by a world-class golf course.”
This year’s Senior PGA Championship will be at Congressional Golf Club in Maryland. Last year’s tournament was held for the sixth time at The Golf Club at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
“We are incredibly honored and excited to host three Senior PGA Championships beginning next April,” said Bruce Cassidy Sr., president of The Concession Golf Club. “Since opening in 2006, The Concession has quickly cemented itself as one of Florida’s premier clubs, and we look forward to welcoming the best senior golfers from around the world to The Concession and Florida’s West Coast.”
