“We are excited to welcome the Davis Cup to the Sunshine State and Delray Beach this September,” said Laura Bowen, executive director of USTA Florida. “We’ve watched many of our team players grow up on our local courts. To have them back in Florida representing the United States at a world-class team event is truly special.”
The Billie Jean King Cup, which is the women’s tennis equivalent to the Davis Cup, has taken place five times at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. The U.S. Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup teams are 5-0 all-time at the Delray Beach Tennis Center.
