
World Aquatics will launch a series of strategic partnerships with MOL Group, MOL — New Europe Foundation, MVM Group and OTP Group to strengthen the international federation’s presence in Hungary, which includes the opening of its new headquarters in Budapest.
An interim headquarters was opened in the Hungarian capital in November 2024. The wider transition to Budapest is planned around the 2027 World Aquatics Championships, which will be hosted in the Hungarian capital. Lausanne will remain home of the Aquatics Integrity Unit and the World Aquatics Foundation.
