Orange County Convention Center Hires GM

Barbara J. Bowden has been hired as general manager of the Orange County Convention Center. Most recently, Bowden was general manager of the Peabody Orlando and vice-president of Peabody Hotels.

“Barbara is an exceptional leader who is well-respected, not only in the hospitality industry, but also within our community,” said Kathie Canning, executive director of the Orange County Convention Center. “Her expertise and excellent leadership skills will benefit the Orange County Convention Center significantly and will be a great addition to our overall success.”
