Marathon Tours & Travel Announced as Official Partner of 2025 Shanghai Marathon

This year is the Shanghai Marathon’s debut year as an Abbott World Marathon Major candidate. Marathon Tours & Travel will market travel packages to participants along with their friends, family and supporters, along with accommodation options.
“We’re excited to have been appointed to build up the overseas ITO programme,” said Kris Van Goethem, managing director of Marathon Tours & Travel China. “We’ve already been able to showcase our expertise during the 2024 Shanghai Marathon in providing high-level service to dozens of international runners.”
Marathon Tours & Travel will offer a four-night package close to the race start at the Bund and the heart of the city center. Curated packages cater for runners and their supporters including a half-day guided orientation tour of Shanghai, a warm-up run, pre-race dinner, post-race celebration dinner and drinks. There is also the option to add a three-night post-race extension to discover Hong Kong.
