Sports Wellness Platform has partnered with ACES, the Association of Chief Executives for Sport, to bring preemptive health and wellness science to its member organizations. The collaboration will debut at the TEAMS Conference & Expo, October 13–16, in Columbus, Ohio, where SWP will host live demonstrations for ACES members and their staff.
As part of the collaboration, ACES members will receive SWP as a no-cost benefit to member organizations and families and athletes within their communities. ACES is a trade association for sport executives dedicated to leadership networking and best practices and includes many of the leaders of Olympic national governing bodies.
SWP is a validated sport-science system that measures and tracks youth and athlete experiences in real time. Through a series of questions on the platform, athletes are asked questions about their emotional, physical and social well-being in an effort to identify and divert any potential issues or problems at an early stage.
“SWP is more than prevention — it’s foresight,” said Pamela Minix, founder and CEO of SWP. “It helps leaders recognize small signals early and proactively build the outcomes and legacy their organizations are striving for. By partnering with ACES, we’re giving members a system that turns experience into action — and data into measurable growth.”
With research spanning over 15 years through Lasso Safe, SWP aims to transform invisible signals into measurable outcomes.
“ACES endeavors to provide its members with tools and information designed to strengthen organizational leadership capabilities,” said ACES President Rick Mack. “Partnering with SWP allows us to deliver a future-focused solution that makes wellness and safety measurable — and actionable — for our members.”
SWP was launched after a two-phase empirical study with 1,266 athletes and alignment with international sport psychology frameworks. The project was led by Dr. Travis Dorsch, former NFL player and founder of Families in Sport Lab at Utah State University. SWP’s chief science officer, Dr. Veronique Valliere, advises the U.S. Congress, Department of Justice, and FBI.
